On Friday, September 26th the Faith - Love - Hope - Win
Foundation held our fourth annual "FLHW Charity Golf Scramble".
This year's event was at Ironhorse Golf Club in Leawood, KS.
After three and a half years and four events, FLHW has raised
over $100,000! Our success is solely due to the generosity of our
friends, families and corporate sponsors.
In 2008 we exceeded our goal for the golf tournament and
successfully raised $28,000. The amount, coupled with the money
raised from other events this year, was donated to the Prostate
Cancer Foundation (PCF). PCF dedicated this $32,000 donation to
support research for improved treatments and a cure for advanced
prostate cancer.
The Faith, Love, Hope, Win Foundation and the Knights of
Columbus Council #12577 held the Fat Tuesday Texas Hold'em Poker
tournament at Johnny's Tavern, Overland Park KS.
